About me:
I discovered yoga in 2010 to cope with the stress of completing my undergraduate degree. Not long after my first class, I fell in love with the asana practice and the affirmative impact it had on my overall attitude. As someone who explored many forms of movement in adolescence, I knew yoga would soon become an essential part of my being. It has been the most consistent form of movement in my life.
I completed my 200-hour RYT certification through YogaWorks and began teaching classes in 2017, later completing my 500-hour advanced training with Jason Crandell in 2021. I continue to study with teachers who have deeply influenced my approach to yoga and mindfulness. My approach to practiced is shaped by my ongoing studies with Fez Aswat and Jules Mitchell. I have attended multiple anatomy labs with Jules, and work closely in a one-on-one mentorship with Fez, learning yoga and meditation through the lens of his teachers and his refined understanding of the yoga dharma. This work continues to deepen my curiosity, sharpen my perspective, and ground my teaching in clarity and respect for what lies beneath the surface.
With nearly 10 years of experience, my classes are foundational, purposeful, and inclusive—I believe this practice is for all people in all communities. I’ve been most recently inspired by somatic movements via the Feldenkrais Method. Allowing an integrated sense of exploration in each posture. I welcome everyone into a diverse space to cultivate deeper connection to self and to build positive conviction in the world. My hope is that my classes leave you feeling embodied, empowered, and attuned to presence.
